Terms and Conditions

The equipment and decoration must be returned to us when it is due back at the Customer’s expense or provide all the necessary access for us or any third party to collect the equipment and decoration on the due date for collection. 

The Customer must return the equipment and decoration clean and in good repair and condition (additional fees will apply for uncleaned or damaged equipment and decorations). 

The Customer must operate and use the equipment and decoration properly and safely, strictly in accordance with its proper use and purpose (only for its intended use) and in accordance with any manufacturer’s instructions supplied by us and at all times. 

The Customer must store safely and securely and protected from theft, seizure, loss or damage all equipment and decoration hired.

The Customer bears all risk in relation to the Equipment and its use until the Equipment are safely returned to the Provider in the same good condition.

The Customer will indemnify Tresor Trove Decorating including its third party suppliers/vendors and keep indemnified from all injury, death, loss and damage caused or contributed to by the Customer to persons and property in relation to the decoration, equipment and its operation and have adequate insurance to cover all liabilities incurred as a result of the use of the equipment and decoration. 

The Customer must not use the equipment and decoration for any illegal purpose. 

Full Payments by the Customer to Tresor Trove Decorating is required by the due date. 

The Customer must pay the hire charge, any service fees and any consumables supplied by us. 

The Customer must pay the specified security deposit (including any applicable retainer) payable upon booking. 

Any damage to the equipment and decoration will be deducted from the customer’s security deposit and any loss or replacement will be payable by the Customer upon finalising of the accounts.

If the Customer elects to return the Equipment prior to the end of the hire period, regardless of any reason, no refund will be issued.

If the Customer cancels the booking more than 14 days prior to the event date, the deposit plus the cost of any materials purchased are non-refundable, and if the booking is cancelled 14 days or less, any money paid to Tresor Trove Decorating is non refundable.

Booking cancellations due to covid19 Government restrictions and lock downs.
- Deposits to secure the date and/or equipment and any payments made to Tresor Trove Decorating will be credited and will be use within 18 months from the cancellation date.

(This is also subject to the Terms and Conditions of the external suppliers/vendors. This amount is fair estimate of the loss suffered by us in reserving the equipment and decoration for use by the Customer to the exclusion of other potential customers of Tresor Trove Decorating.)

We will comply with the Australian Privacy Principles in all dealings with Customers.   

This policy is effective from 1st July 2019.

This privacy policy sets out how the Provider uses and protects any information that you give the Provider when you use this website or any other platform related to the Provider’s business activity. 

The Provider is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. 

The Provider may change this policy from time to time by updating this page.
